Founded in Amherstburg, Ontario by Master Electrician Frank Hunt, Lighting Plus Wholesale has gone on to be the regional leader in Energy Rebate projects since their introduction in 2006. As an accredited C.E.M. Frank and his team have managed a multitude of energy saving projects on behalf of their satisfied clients in small business and industries that include retail, municipalities, retirement homes, local utilities, sport venues, places of worship, warehousing, manufacturing, farming, greenhouse, hotels and convention centres.

Services include site audits, lighting layouts and improvement proposals, application preparation and submission, supply and installation, M&V studies for custom lighting, VFD and creative custom applications in the pursuit of energy savings WHILE MAINTAINING a 100% APPROVAL RATING. In addition to the in-house team, Lighting Plus Wholesale is networked with reputable professionals in the supply chain, trades and engineering circles to insure the best in client service.

Frank Hunt, ME, CEM

I am a Master Electrician and Certified Energy Manager with 30 years’ experience in the electrical industry.  By attending most of the leading industry and government trade shows, I am able to keep up with the latest state of the art product innovations and to stay totally conversant with all rebate programs available through all levels of government and other relevant organizations.  My extensive expertise in all facets of the industry enables me to address any other electrical issues you are concerned about in your facility.

For the last 30 years I have managed offices of various sizes mostly in the construction industry.  My experience is bookkeeping and systems maintenance along with operations management.  As Office/Operations Manager for Lighting Plus Wholesale, I am responsible for maintaining the company’s accounting systems as well as oversee day to day operation.

Lighting Plus Wholesale was contracted to consult, price and deliver several hundred LED light fixtures on numerous facilities. These projects were completed on time and on budget while maintaining a high level of workmanship and quality materials. We drew upon Frank’s knowledge of the retrofit program in completing all rebate paperwork throughout the process. This project is located far from his head office, but he has made the necessary trips to properly manage the work. Often times transporting materials so we can save on shipping costs. We are also extremely happy with the BJ Take fixtures and we find that they are exceeding our expectation. They offer great light, excellent lead times and are cost effective. From our extensive research, they are the best value for our money.

I hired the services of Lighting Plus Wholesale operated by Frank Hunt to design, obtain and compile material and labor quotes, purchase all materials as well as hire and co-ordinate all contractors.
